Tree men at work
A big sycamore had to come down in Queen Street Gardens; mid morning there was still a 10m main trunk. It was all down by late afternoon, though the crew were still working. There's a shower incoming over the trees.
Out again later when it was sunnier, and more windy. Down the Trinity path to Newhaven, and out to Lighthouse Park. Three swans in the pond at Western Harbour, the one older male we've seen there before, and two new youngsters, last year's cygnets, possibly both female. Very strong west wind blowing us along, strong enough to lean back into. Return by no 11 bus and through the garden to check on the tree work.
