Sunset …..

….. ….. ….. over Coronet Peak Skifield. The lights are on!
It’s the beginning of the school holidays now, so there’ll be lots of happy skiers visiting.

We walked along the North side of Lake Hayes this morning, after a -6.5°C frost. A very chilly start to the day but, it’s how winter should be.
I found a white-faced heron on the lake shore - it’s in Extras. So pretty!

I’m looking after the chooks at my daughter’s while they’re away - all the water was frozen this morning, so it was a bit of a mission getting that sorted.

There’s been a change of government in the UK - that will affect so many blippers! For good, I hope.
