To the polling station we go!

It's 4 July and whilst our American friends celebrate Independence Day, we go to the polling stations here in the UK to elect our government for the next five years.  I did my civic duty while en route to have lunch and a catch up with my friend C.
My blip for today's Abstract Thursday is a rather confusing image.  It began as washing up liquid bubbles in a dish placed over some patterned paper and after many PS elements filters, including extrude, it turned out like this.  I suppose that the many colours could represent the many choices of party that we could choose from nationwide!
