A Color Change in the Garden

Now the garden is entering its yellow and orange phase with the daylilies, heliopsis and the fritillary or passion butterfly.  They seem to be especially attracted to the heliopsis (false sunflowers).  John will be here this morning to do some thinning out in the dooryard garden which seems a bit more overgrown than usually.  Glad a bit of rain is on the way tomorrow, we need it.
