Cygnet

What a night! Not a huge amount of sleep though we went to bed about 11:00. The radio was chuntering on all night as the scale of things became apparent. There were some delicious moments.  Reform took a lot of votes which is a worry but overall I'm happy. I'm not elated though - the percentage of people who didn't vote is far too high and there is a very hard task ahead. However, here's to some adult political behaviour over the next five years. 

We were all a bit bleary this morning so to blow away the cobwebs we took our friends up to the reservoir for a walk. Three cygnets on the water and the stonechat (extra) on the fence.  Coffee then another walk and home for late lunch. 

I'm planning silent reading for a while this afternoon and I might find my eyes closing! I'm not getting so much blip done with our lovely friends staying.
