Summer Flowers

Of course the main news today has been the General Election result but, as an antidote to all the weeks of campaigning,  both on the TV and flyers coming through the letterbox,  I thought I'd post a blip about something far more soothing. So, I made some time today to get out into the garden for an hour and do some dead-heading and tidying. The pots of flowers around our fountain are looking very pretty at the moment, so here's a 'summer flowers' blip.  The blue flowers are lobelia but I can't remember what the pink ones are, but they've been in flower for a couple of months.

I feel better already...!
