RIP Trish

Our neighbour Trish (right in photo) passed away last night. It's an old photo - taken a couple of years ago when she was a guerrilla gardener on the waste ground behind our house.  I reprocessed it this morning, to get over the date issue.  Not that it really matters - it's the person who's important.

She was diagnosed with a brain tumour about 18 months ago. But never let that bother her.

Trish had a good life - she and Steve had been together since they were 18 - and three daughters and five grandchildren.  And Bertie.

She also had a good death. She slipped into a coma a couple of nights ago and passed into that long sleep, at home, surrounded by her family. 

She was a wonderful, funny person, a good neighbour and will be sorely missed.
