I didn’t intend to be awake for much of the night but after a few hours sleep I woke and turned the radio on. The first election result was due in 6 or 7 minutes. Every half hour the radio turned itself off and I reset it for another half hour. Think I was asleep by 3.30 and still up at the usual 6 o’clock.

It’s been a housework day. Upstairs in the morning and downstairs in the afternoon.

Between those sessions I walked down to the shops for a few essentials and a blip.
