Fresh as ....

..... or rather not as I am feeling slightly jaded from staying up until after mid-night watching the election coverage and then listening to the radio from 6 am onwards.  Our constituency was one of the last to declare - there was a slight chance it might have turned blue, thankfully it hasn't.  

In general the results went as predicted, although I wasn't expecting the SNP to lose so many seats - it will be interesting to see how they respond.  I was also surprised & concerned  by how low the turnout was in some seats and overall with less that 60% of the electorate voting.  

In today's other news I did some weeding, caught up with some admin and didn't do the ironing (no surprise there).
