Walton on Naize - MAC

A perfect day for a trip to Walton on Naize with MAC girl friends. J has a beach hut and we enjoyed great conversation, a picnic lunch, sea swim and some En-plenair painting. Not sure that it could have been more perfect. 

Then to vote. A heavy heart, as I made a tactical choice rather than go with my heart. My usual choice candidate was outside - I could hardly look him in the eye.

Then an evening of election drama. G enjoyed watching the live broadcast as each result was declared. I preferred to read my book and message on the family chat as particularly newsworthy events or family gossip occurred. C's friend Fran's, mother voted for the opposite end of her political preference in error, as both left and right-wing candidates were named James! Fortunately it was not a swing seat.
