Cruise day 7 - Runavik, Faroes

We arrived into Runavik this morning, another of the Faroe Isles. The weather was lovely first thing so we headed off the ship for a walk around Lake Toftavatn long before the guided walks set out. It only takes about an hour and a half to go round and up to the viewpoint but was a lovely quiet walk. We passed by this statue which is rather nice, the plate on the back says ‘SIMUN OG MANNING 2013’ but the tourist information sheet calls it the statue of the Shepherd.
