Deer attack

There was a deer in the garden again. It got into the hens enclosure and then crashed through the fence into the orchard. I went to inspect for damage this afternoon and found the trees undamaged , but my strawberry bed had been stripped! I have put some wire netting over the remaining stems and hope they will regrow. Also covered the raised bed.
The new shoots on all the roses are at risk and I don’t think I can do much for them except hope!
Great news about the election landslide and I thought Keir Starmer made a good speech when he took over no.10. Let’s hope they can live up to it.
