Have a lot to say since I last time. In short, I got fired from the University of Copenhagen. They'd hired me to edit a very large number of educational online video courses. After 1 1/2 weeks, they weren't satisfied with my effort, so they told me not to turn up again. A bit harsh, and I took it a bit personal, but in hindsight, I'm actually relieved. There were several situations, from the beginning, that made me sceptical. I will not bore you with the details, but I feel like they needed a scapegoat to justify their lack of organizational and practical capabilities. I'm not jealous of the person who is to replace me..! Now I've been hired, on freelance basis, by the company, which fired me back in April. For the next two and a half week I will assist in their editorial department. From August I will be a school photographer by trade. For the first time I will be payed to do what I enjoy the most! I will not fool myself to believe, that I will have creative assignments, though.. It's gonna be very 'factory-like' work, but at least I will get experience in setting up light, which is my biggest challenge at the moment. It's actually way more difficult, than you would think. AND, I can allow myself to call me a photographer!! Now that Robert (Copenhagen and me) and I have the container box, and have had the possibility of borrowing a complete studio-set, we've thought about starting to do personal portraits as a way of getting even more experienced in the art of photography.. Yes, there are promising times ahead, if we dare to give it a shot! I believe we do! I want to mention my new website again: urbexme.tumblr.com. Please feel free to leave comments and positive critique. I'd really appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
