That Friday feeling

Spent most of the day weeding and deadheading in the rose beds. They are next to a south facing wall and, on a glorious sunny day soon heated up. Working there became quite laborious but I wanted to finish them and move on. In between I moved to the significantly cooler far side and planted Hosta T Rex, Hosta Zebra Stripes and little Hosta Stir Fry. In the early evening we drove down to the very sociable Ship Inn at Drummore where the most amazing Haddock and Chips were served with a glass of wine. The journey back home follows the coastline with the most breathtaking views which I hope we will never take for granted.
