Surprise Sun

Raced off to Reguengos on the other side of the Lake for more raspberries at nine o'clock after discovering mold on the ones in the fridge, went round a bend, and saw this. Been busy indoors all day, not even a walk, so it was a lovely surprise.

Various wakings in the night and catch-ups, but so relieved with the results of Britain's election. Not going to be easy, but really hoping (and praying) people get behind the government and they manage to accomplish what needs doing to fix some of the mess.

Not so great for Portugal, who are now out of the football, on penalties, awful.

Gratefuls:
- Britain getting a government again that actually appears to want to serve the people
- a slow cooker to cook the lamb without too much extra heat
- a slightly cooler day, high was "only" 36C, and a good job, as we had to turn off the air con early, after using too much electricity
