Sad Tasha

Got up this morning and Tasha was having great difficulty walking and could barely manage together up the step from the garden to the house! Maybe the result of too long a walk yesterday evening but I was very worried so phoned Tricia who said to try the vet. Fortunately a friend up the road was available to take her to Saltash vets and we took her over! The vet checked all her limbs and took her weight which was 13.5kg. Last time she was there she was 10.5 which is a better weight!

She was given an anti inflammatory injection and medication for seven days to put in her food! Came away having paid the bill! I am hoping the medication doesn’t make her unwell!

Having got back through the horrible weather and fed her I had to go to choir practice. Had to take a taxi as the bus would not have got me there in time. When I got back Tasha was bounding up and down like normal, probably because of the effect of the injection and not being in pain. I was relieved to see it and am hoping for some good weather tomorrow for a short walk!
