My Dear Friend,

My mother is not famous for imparting sage advice,

but there is one very simple pearl of wisdom that has helped me through my darkest hour.

Time is a great healer,

no matter how bad it may seem,

if you can weather the storm and ride it out,

grab tight to those who care for you,

there is a good chance with each passing day,

you will feel better.

And if all else fails,

come curl up on the end of my bed.
