Nasturtium

I just took a quick turn around the terrace to find a flower blip for today.  It was very warm, but not as hot as earlier in the day.  I like the look of nasturtiums and their leaves, so I was pleased to find this plant to blip.

I realized this morning that we've a heat wave upon us and I had no hot weather food in the house.  So I did a grocery pick-up for salads and fruit and a mini-watermelon that I need to cut up, and now I'm set.  The new air conditioner in the workroom is working very well and is somewhat quieter than the old one in the bedroom.

Dialysis again tomorrow and I'm hoping to get that one shady spot by the entrance so my car doesn't have to sit in the hot sun for five hours as the temperature is supposed to rise into the mid-eighties.  I don't remember if the dialysis center is air-conditioned.

The temperatures will continue to rise here into next week.  I hope all of you are managing to keep cool where you are.
