Today, the initial debate in parliament was described in the House itself as 'a charade' (BBB), 'a shit show' (SP), 'a parliamentary low point' (Volt) and 'an embarrassing circus' (VVD). Dutch politics seems to have definitively entered the Italian sphere, including high emotions, an implacable opposition, quarreling coalition partners and an out-of-control deputy prime minister.
