Silly Saturday - Gimli

Gimli is a warrior  dwarf, from the trilogy by JRR Tolkien - The Lord Of The Rings.  He is a loyal and brave member of the Fellowship of the Ring.  I thought he would make a suitable  subject for today's Silly Saturday, hosted this month by KangaZu.
I hope he would have made Admirer - the originator of Silly Saturday, smile.  It makes me smile each time I look at it.

This is a ceramic model made for me by someone who knew I am a great fan of Tolkien's work.. It was made several years ago.
