Bouquetin, Dent d’Oche

What a fabulous day out we had with HilarysView climbing the Dent d’Oche, across the border in France. It was a steep ascent and descent, with chains for the tricky parts and hard work at times. We headed for a Col first where we found a small crèche for newly born Bouquetin (Ibex). See extras. Spent an hour watching them the newborns trying out their unsteady legs. The older females came very close to us and did not seem at all disturbed by our presence.
