We’re joining the Island Sky tomorrow so a chance to explore this lovely place.

My hotel doesn’t do breakfast so I made the most of a trip out in the gorgeous early morning light.

Wonderful light but no coffee shops open until 8.00. No problem. There’s so much to see and appreciate as the light changes. 

Everyone here is so friendly. But I’m thinking carefully before I venture to watch tonight’s football along with the locals. It was no problem to watch Portugal in a great pub yesterday, but this may be a step too far.

Extra. My black guillemot shot. Lots of guys with long lenses around. Mine was just lucky.
