Why did the chicken cross the road?

The railroad, that is.  Why, to dance on the other platform, of course.  An annual Morris Dancing festival in Sheringham today.  We drove over to the station and watched a few different groups dancing on the platform, including this rather magnificent chicken.  We then headed down into town where there were several other places where dancing was taking place.  Some amazing costumes worn by some of the performers; I rather liked the black and white theme in the extra shot.

It was very wet at home but after earlier rain the weather seemed to have been kind in Sheringham for the dancing.  By the time we got home it was pouring down again.
