A pleasant surprise to wake up with a new government. Let’s hope they use that majority to bring in much needed legislation and leadership. 

In the afternoon met a pal from Edinburgh who is passing through London on her way to friends in the south. We had a good conversation over lunch about the ins and outs of the election.
