I was right....

...it is too hot for cake! One banana cake and some shortbread has confirmed my suspicions; the kitchen is now like a sauna!
Still summer here; don't they realise its the school
holidays!
Mr Cakes took Caley for a big walk very early this morning so I was in charge of a stroll with Bruce. We decided on a lovely shady walk at Achaderry with some added swimming. Then it was off to get the cottage ready for tomorrow's guests; they're a lovely couple who have stayed lots of times before. It's always nice when people want to come back again and again.
BBQ was indeed the order of the day; rather yummy it was too!
