Marsh thistle

I try not to strim off the base at their early stage, although not always successful, brain fade usually. A dry breezy day with no midges until this evening, allowing weeding and strimming, another day like this would be good. 

Just watching Le Tour de France, it’s wet - wonder how the French election will turn out tomorrow?
