What kind of bird is that?
A paper bird. Found on the Hemlock Trail at North Chagrin Reservation while doing a 2 hour shift with arborist-by-day TM. He said they've found effective treatment for individual trees with beech bark disease that has plagued/killed many beech trees in the eastern US (extra). No solution for forests yet. It was 77 degrees and actually felt cool after the recent heat wave. We did the Titanic "I'm flying" arms position several times when the breeze kicked up.
Many thanks to everyone who dropped by with blip anniversary greetings and gifts - all very much appreciated. I will thank you individually. And thanks to the Blip gods for keeping things running so smoothly. My comments are much fewer but I'm still here.
