Bang! ….they’re off.

Mid Lancs League at Salt Ayre, Lancaster. I’ve only officiated once this summer so I decided to go. Caught up with lots of people I haven’t seen for ages. I worked on the Hammer and Discus, retrieving and spiking. Its was extremely windy. A gust caught a discus in mid air and blew it sideways. I had to move quickly and it landed right where I was stood. You are always taught never take your eye off the thrower or the implement. It worked today. I hope the weather is a bit calmer tomorrow.
