Weeding and tennis
It was tennis tournament day at Oaks in Charnwood tennis club. Normally I would only turn up for the bbq at the end of proceedings but Len had demurred about joining in and l wanted to encourage him. Perhaps just as well because he couldn't find the car keys to come home and got in a bit of a tizzy. I insisted, as did Christine who brought us home, on eating first.
Luckily I had a set of house keys in my bag and the spare car key was in my bureau.
After Len had set off back with Christine and the spare car key to drive home, I examined his tennis racket bag. He had put the key in the most sensible place, a zipped pocket in the bag.
Today's photo shows one of the members who didn't join in in the tournament doing her duty by weeding the sedum at the edge of the court. She does keep a tidy garden. The extras show a purple toadflax, even if it's pink, and a Montbretia which we're not supposed to encourage because it's invasive.
