Pink Poppy Time

Today I went in search of the field of pink poppies that has begun to emerge on social media. I found it but, boy, was it windy! I will have to return on a calmer day. I was amazed to see people brazenly walking in amongst the poppies for selfies or to photograph their children. Do they not realise that those poppies are the farmer's livelihood??? Maybe they were super, super careful where they were walking....

I also went to Athelhampton House gardens, which has been added to the list of RHS Partner Gardens. I had a very pleasant walk around the grounds - most of the time without another person in sight!
