A Blue Accent

The wind has dropped throughout the day until it is totally calm this evening.  There were a couple attempts at a shower but they didn't amount to more than a few spots - until teatime.

That was when it really got black and thunder rumbled around until there was a short heavy shower.  It got even darker when all the power went off!  Fortunately it came back on after 6 minutes.  Great relief all round.

My blip was taken earlier but was rather dull straight out of camera so I processed it to look more high-key.
