Cardinals

When I saw the grayish bird I wondered what it was but then I noticed that these two were really close friends...like dad and daughter.   Unless the male was being a foster dad.

If made me smile this morning watching the love!!

In the extra are photos of the deer visitors today....we had 12!   I could not get all of them in the same frame because they kept moving around.  Too much noise out on the street.  The fawns are so cute.   

Not quite as hot today but still terrible.   It has gotten really dark now at 6:30pm with the air cooling and some thunder rumbling in the distance.  I hope the rain makes it here.  It would not hurt my feelings if it rained all night and all day tomorrow.
