She’s finally finished, with many lessons learned. The knitting was fun, the seaming of the pieces was not. There is a whole world of these creatures out there, with their own very active Facebook group. Some very clever people are riffing on the original pattern, adding embellishments and bling. You wouldn’t think there’d be so many things to do with knitted chickens. The key point to remember is that ESCs are usually/often/supposed to be given to someone who needs a hug. They are being sent all over the world, much like Blips, only more difficult to move around.
