Birthday Brunch

Today is Teen 'h's mother's birthday, so we went out to brunch at a local cafe.  As you can see the food was delicious.  It was a fun morning, with lots of reminiscing going on.

Tomorrow the walking group will be walking to Bull Ridge, the forecast will be for fine weather.

Yesterday we did a bird count in the garden, for an hour.  
Bellbird 4, Thrush, 2, Tui. 3, Blackbird, 1, Chaffinch 2, Fantail, 2, Greenfinch, 2, Sparrow, 14, and Silvereye 8.  We submitted our numbers to a NZ wide bird count.  The birds give us lots of entertainment, especially in the winter months.
