Just started flowering

I do like my sweet peas - it’s a perennial plant which gets cut back to the ground every year and grows back quite a bit taller than me with these lovely flowers. It was a gift from my friend L who died last year, which makes it extra special.
Had quite an ordinary day, batch cooking meals for the freezer, a bit of cleaning, listening to several podcasts about the election and the formation of the new government. Enjoyed watching the England v Switzerland match Especially the role of Saka, who I support because he plays for Arsenal.
Overall, things already feel different - I feel more hopeful and less angry
