As the rain started...

... we were having a walk quite close to home.

The best photo opportunities were flowers in gardens on the way back (complete with some small visitors).

As a non-gardener, I am not even going to try to guess the names of the plants concerned. 

However, I'm more than happy to accept identification information from knowledgeable fellow blippers.
