A day in Vancouver

What a great day we had! Renata, Kalyn, Tiki and I drove in and met Krista and Zane at the apartment Krista shares with two friends. First chance I’ve had to see it. What a great location, walking distance to Science World and the seawall. We caught the Aquabus to Granville Island and enjoyed walking around the public market, so much to look at, so many people. Plenty of talking and laughing too! We enjoyed a delicious late lunch before walking around some more then heading back on the Aquabus. We ended the day at Earnest Ice Cream, known for crafting delicious ice cream from quality local and seasonal ingredients. I sampled spruce bud ice cream, delicious! A bonus was that we met Abby there. She’s one of Krista’s roommates. Her family lives next door to Renata and James, and I’ve known her since she was a wee girl. It was so great for Krista and Kalyn to reconnect with Tikari and to watch them have so much fun together.
A long day but such a memorable one. I loved every minute of it.
