Lily

A very bright sunny morning but as soon as I put my bath sheets on the line it started raining. Thought I would leave them out thinking it would pass over.
Wrong! We have had nothing but heavy showers and even hailstones all afternoon.
Finally picked the washing in which was even wetter than when I pegged it out.

Decided not to go to Brighouse to watch the Brass Band March and Hymn Contest.
Everyone must have got soaked. Such a shame.
So watched Le Tour and some of the British Grand Prix. A good win for Hamilton.
Now watching Wimbledon.
Unfortunately Emma Raducanu isn’t doing too well at the moment.
I’m afraid I just don’t like the British spectators who are so obviously biased.
