High and Dry

The ducklings were quite insistent about snuggling up to mum, actually climbing over one another in order to get close.

The family are actually sitting on the bottom of the pond - it shrinks day by day. The water level should be a good two feet higher.

Last year the pond was declared off limits due to blue-green algae bloom. Despite our yearning for sunshine, we desperately need some rain.
