Brunch at Bute Yard
Bute Yard is a food / drink/ crafts / arts space in Rothesay, that was the brainchild of Johnny Dumfries, the Marquis of Bute who alas died during the Covid pandemic.
Lots is going on all the time, but there is a regular market on the first Sunday of the month to which we have been intending to go for ages , though never actually doing it.
But today we did, and it is very much worth the trip.
Admittedly the sun shone, but we also had a great wander round, bought a variety of good things and had an excellent seafood brunch from the Bute Smokehouse (and something to go with it from the Bute Gin bar) .
There is a huge covered space, but also lots of outdoor seating too, as my extra photo shows.
We will be back !
