Not the best of timing

A quiet day with a surprise visit from son Matthew, his wife Mary and their Labrador Mara. Good to catch up with them both. Matthew has just been offered a job with Ripon Farm Services which supply and maintain farm machinery (John Deere) throughout the area. It will mean less travelling to work and he is looking forward to a better work life balance.

Decided I had done too much sitting today so popped out for a walk after tea. Not the best timing as it started to rain! But good to stretch the legs. Passed by the Beck Isle. Museum with its colourful pennants.
