You can’t come in!

Wasted the morning dealing with bureaucracy in banks; trying to open an account for someone whom we have guardianship over. However two banks have refused to give a card based account to us for the bizarre reason that one of us might use a card and buy something with it that the other wouldn’t approve of. It appears their legal teams interpret a particular phrase differently from the lawyers who successfully put through our court application to get the guardianship order !!! Even tho they issue joint accounts to customers where the same thing could happen !!! It’s discrimination and is just another example of how people with ASN are treated as second class citizens in the UK.
