Shaolin Temple

Tonight L brought me to her local Shaolin Temple. An unusual choice for an evening out you may think. But there were two reasons for the visit.

Firstly, to sample their delicious vegetarian meals (the steamed dumplings were sublime!). But equally importantly it was to introduce me to her part-time cat. Some years ago this feral, but beautiful, creature showed up at her place and has been a frequent visitor / part-time occupant ever since. He was so grubby that she initially named him Manky. It wasn't until a few years after the initial visit that she found out that he belonged to this temple and his name was Panda, so-called because of his markings (not because he does Kung-Fu).

Thanks you for your comments and stars over the past few days and I apologise for not responding personally. It has been busy and stressful and I decided to spend any spare time looking at people's blips instead. Normal service will be resumed soon!
