It was dry and sunny in Sandbank (near Dunoon) this afternoon, in fact a whole day of dryness and sunny weather.
Ardnadam Pier is in the distance and this was used by American service personnel when they were based here as a result of the Cold War and needed to board or disembark from their ships.
