Carshalton Ponds…

… taken from my passenger window as we passed this afternoon. Also a rare moment of blue sky and sunshine and no rain!

I’d followed D in the Mokka. He was driving the Riley to Epsom for yet another look at those lights and this time the breaks too. So I was rear buffer, just in case. It has had a run of being poorly but we have been with our mechanic since getting the car and he’s patient with it and looks after it well. We trust him. My ‘instructions’ had been to stay close and let no cars come between us and the journey was good, the route being a 20mph one for a lot of the way. We weren’t expecting to see Andy but did and had a lovely chat with him.

Big Sis has travelled home from Dunbar today. I know she’ll be missing her family this evening.
