John MacLeod
A statue to John MacLeod who won the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine 1923. He was recognised after his work in the discovery and isolation of insulin which resulted in the saving of millions of lives.
John MacLeod was born in Aberdeen and attended school and university there.
He received the Nobel Prize alongside Fredrick Banting.
The statue is in Duthie Park Aberdeen.Mr H & I visited on our way home.
