Tyninghame Beach

For the first time in ages we were both around when I had a weekend off so we decided to head for a beach in East Lothian. We drove to Tyninghame beach which was deserted the whole time we were there. We then went to a cafe in East Linton for coffee and cake. 
I worked in East Linton for about six months in 1991. As I was working shifts and the buses were limited I bought a bright yellow mini metro! It wasn't long after I had passed my test and it was still the old A1 so it was always a nerve racking journey! I was relieved when my workplace moved to Tranent and I went back to getting the bus.
Repotted some houseplants when we got home then a relaxing evening.
