Hamming it up

Not a lot going on today apart from watching the football and players hamming it up every time they are tackled. Fortunately the referees in both the England v Switzerland and Turkey v Netherlands quarter finals weren't taken in – most of the time. It's amazing how quickly players recover when play is waved on. Our area had a power cut just as the half time whistle blew in the England game and unfortunately was restored in time to see the penalty shoot-out at the end of extra time. Ho-hum.
