Summer at last

The first day in ages that has felt like actual summer … hurrah. It’s nice to see people down at the beach having a good time and building sandcastles. 

Unfortunately, Martin’s dads anticipated visit to us has had to be postponed as he was feeling a bit poorly, however, we’re hoping he be able to visit sooner than later when he is feeling better.

In other exciting (or maybe not) news, I was over at Specsavers Cameron Toll having my ears syringed and it’s made a world of difference… it’s like hearing in stereo again. Turns out that ear syringing is no longer a core NHS service in Scotland (not sure about England though). 

Been dog walking with our neighbours Rory, and now about to go and check on our other neighbours Siamese cats. It’s so nice being able to help neighbours, especially when pets are involved… it’s a ‘win win’ as they say.
