The poppies are fading ......

....... but the field of ripening golden barley looked wonderful as it soaked up the warmth from the sunshine.

It has been a beautiful summer's day ...... just a pity that tomorrow isn't forecasted to be the same.

Picked up a coffee in Anstruther, drove along to Cellardyke, parked by the water sports centre and then started our walk along part of the Fife Coastal Path. We walked as far as the Caiplie Caves where we sat and enjoyed our coffee and a Kit Kat to give us enough energy for our return walk.
